Description
Harlow Fields School and College is hiring an entry-level Teaching Assistant SEND Pathway Apprentice to support pupils with complex needs in a school setting. The role involves assisting with learning activities, adapting to individual needs, building relationships, supporting literacy, numeracy, ICT, personal welfare, behaviour, and progress tracking, as well as supervising breaks and trips. The apprenticeship lasts 18 months, follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule with 30.5 hours per week, and includes online training with a dedicated tutor. Compensation is £12,688 per year or £8 per hour, with an automatic pay increase after one year for apprentices aged 19 or older. Successful completion may lead to full-time employment.
