East Carolina University is hiring a nine-month, fixed-term, non-tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Human Development and Family Science in Greenville, North Carolina. The role will primarily teach within the B.S. in Family and Community Services program, covering family science, early childhood, family life education, child and youth development, community education, and related topics, while also providing professional service and engaging with students, staff, faculty, and administrators. Applicants need a master’s degree in a related field; research, teaching, community-focused, and family-life-education experience are preferred. The position is expected to begin in August 2027 and is contingent on the availability of funds.
