ERGO NEXT (Next Insurance) is hiring a Team Lead for the Developer Experience (DevEx) team in Waltham, Massachusetts in a hybrid arrangement. The role leads a new cross-functional team of Backend and DevOps engineers focused on improving the developer lifecycle, executing an agentic SDLC strategy, and building self-service platform capabilities aligned with R&D needs. It requires a B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent, extensive backend leadership and development experience, and technical familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, build tools, testing frameworks, and observability. The position is full-time and offers a US annual base salary of $173,000 to $234,000 plus benefits including partially subsidized medical coverage and fully subsidized vision/dental options.
