CarGurus is hiring a Team Lead for its DevX PaaS team to lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on with Kubernetes-based developer platform work on AWS EKS. The role owns team operations, capacity planning, coaching, and cross-team communication, while also driving autoscaling, agentic cluster maintenance, service discovery, platform modernization, reliability, security, and AI-assisted developer support. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, deep Kubernetes and EKS expertise, strong Go or equivalent systems programming skills, AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience, and people leadership instincts. The position offers a $154,000–$193,000 USD annual base salary and on-target earnings range, with a flexible hybrid model.
