Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Team Lead - Electron Flight Software to lead a five-person team developing, maintaining, and supporting flight software for the Electron launch vehicle, Photon spacecraft, and ground communication systems. The role reports to the Director of Electron Engineering, sets long-term software objectives, approves requirements and architecture, writes and reviews code, manages technical risk, and develops engineers. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in software, computer, or electrical engineering, at least five years of software engineering experience, leadership experience, and strong C/C++, embedded, Linux, networked application, Git, and Jira skills. The position is based at the Auckland Production Complex and may require domestic and international travel.
