Description
The Team Lead Pipe Layer will lead and coordinate a crew of pipe layers and labor personnel while setting accurate underground utility lines and grades using civil plans, pipe lasers, GPS rovers, and line transfer units. The role oversees water, storm, and sanitary pipe installations, conducts air, mandrel, or pressure tests, supports backfill and material handling, maintains OSHA trench safety protocols, performs daily safety inspections, and completes production logs. The position requires 5+ years of underground utility pipe-laying experience, 2+ years of crew leadership or foreman experience, civil-reading and utility-testing skills, OSHA 10 certification, and a valid driver's license.
