Description

ACV is hiring a Team Lead, Software Engineer to lead and mentor a small software engineering team focused on the VIN Decoder domain. The role combines people management with hands-on Python backend development, multi-cloud architecture, data engineering, infrastructure as code, automated pipelines, and Agile delivery. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, substantial production programming experience, and strong communication and collaboration skills; it offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits but does not provide immigration or work visa sponsorship.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of hands-on production experience programming in Python
2-4+ years of experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
3-5 years of experience building, maintaining, and optimizing automated pipelines
2-4 years of experience applying domain-driven design to architect and build complex systems
Experience architecting systems from the ground up with scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Experience with in-memory data processing and database monitoring
Experience integrating third-party APIs, authentication and authorization, and asynchronous data flows
Experience developing unit and integration tests and defining test strategy
Experience leading Agile development environments and sprint ceremonies
Preferred Qualifications: 0–2 years of people management experience, including mentoring engineers and running Agile ceremonies
