Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Team Lead - Thermofluids Analysis to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for thermodynamics and fluid mechanics across launch systems. The role covers aerodynamics, thermal design, propellant delivery, CFD and thermal modelling, test requirements, data interpretation, and the development of engineering tools and capabilities. It also involves mentoring direct reports, managing resources, and driving risk and qualification decisions. The position is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and requires a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a similar field, at least five years of industry experience, CFD and thermal modelling expertise, and Python programming skills.
