Description
The Team Lead supervises a portion of the Daily Management System, production targets, safety, quality, standard work, and team performance in a wood-products manufacturing environment. The role applies Lean Systems, 5S, visual control, A3 problem solving, and other production-improvement methods, while teaching operators, counseling employees, coordinating with maintenance, and communicating with other team leaders and the VSM. The position is split between an office and the manufacturing plant, with most time spent in the plant, and may require travel of less than 10% of work time.
