Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Team Lead, Unpressurized Composite Structures for its Neutron rocket mechanical workstream. The role leads mechanical systems from conceptual design through development, testing, qualification, integration, and operational support; manages project schedules, budgets, resources, and technical risks; coordinates with supply chain, quality, production, and other engineering teams; and mentors direct reports. Candidates need a mechanical engineering or similar degree, at least five years of experience in a high-performance industry, and a proven record of leading engineering projects through operation. Experience with composite materials, moving mechanical assemblies, pressure vessels, aerodynamic control systems, fluid systems, or thermal protection systems is required, while CAD and product lifecycle management experience is preferred.
