D-Wave is hiring a Team Lead, USHQ Lab Operations to establish and lead laboratory operations supporting quantum processor development at its Boca Raton, Florida facility. The role coordinates cryogenic test cycles, cooldowns, warmups, payload operations, safety procedures, documentation, and cross-functional dependencies, while leading a technical team and serving as the first point of contact for troubleshooting. It includes an initial 180-day or shorter onsite training assignment in Burnaby, British Columbia, followed by permanent onsite work in Boca Raton, and requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied sciences, physics, or equivalent practical experience, at least six years of relevant laboratory or cryogenic experience, and the ability to obtain a Tier 2 background investigation and an active U.S. government security clearance.
