Description
This fixed-term Cosma International role within Magna focuses on destructive and performance testing of spot, MIG, and projection welds used in automotive body and chassis production. The position collects and prepares weld samples, measures weld nuggets and penetration, performs push-out and torque tests, records results, makes pass/reject dispositions, supports containment and rework activities, operates measurement equipment, participates in gauge calibration and GR&R/PPAP activities, and applies quality systems, controlled documentation, SPC, and customer acceptance standards. The role may also provide backup inspection support for receiving and production processes.
