Description
Watu is hiring a Tech Lead for its Android Experience Engineering squad in Nairobi. The role owns the squad’s architecture, Android app development, backend API, release and QA strategy, partner governance, sprint planning, and the day-to-day technical growth of 4–6 direct reports. It requires 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years as the de facto technical authority for a significant product area or team, along with strong backend, Android, API, and Agile experience. The position is hybrid and reports to the Head of Engineering.
