Description
Sourcegraph is hiring an IC5 Technical Lead for its Code Plane team, which owns products for developers and AI agents working on large codebases. The role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership across backend, frontend, AI agents, CLIs, and related product surfaces, including Agentic Batch Changes, Code Monitors, Code Insights, and the src CLI. The lead will set architecture and product direction, own the roadmap, drive delivery, mentor teammates, and partner with Product, Design, and other engineering teams. The position requires 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, fluency across Go, TypeScript, SvelteKit, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes, and experience building systems called by agents or other programs. Preferred locations are Europe or EST, with work-hour overlap with CEST required.
