Kaiko Systems is hiring a Tech Lead to run its Berlin engineering team, reporting directly to the CTO. The role combines hands-on engineering with prototype development, architectural decision-making, team management, hiring, mentoring, on-call coordination, and resource allocation. The Tech Lead will work on production code, review complex pull requests, and improve engineering processes while supporting AI-powered maritime software, computer-vision pipelines, and event-sourced state systems. The position is based in Berlin or requires relocation, with flexible office attendance.
