KIS is hiring a remote React & Express.js Tech Lead for an international IT project, available only to residents of Latin America. The role combines technical leadership with requirements gathering, application development, client communication, and mentorship of student developers. Candidates must have advanced English, React and TypeScript expertise, Node.js and Express.js experience, database and API knowledge, testing experience, and familiarity with modern development tools and workflows.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience with React 16.8+ and hooks-based functional components
Experience with React Router for client-side routing
Experience with TypeScript, strict typing, and generics across frontend and backend
Experience with React Context for state management
Experience with CSS-in-JS or utility-first CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS
Experience implementing unit and integration tests in frontend and backend applications
Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js for building RESTful APIs
Experience with asynchronous programming and middleware patterns
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL
Experience with input validation using libraries such as Zod
Experience with environment and configuration management using dotenv, cross-env, or similar tools
