Description
The Sheet Metal Technician will work the first shift Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mitsubishi Cell in East Granby, CRO. The role involves interpreting blueprints, measuring and marking materials, fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet-metal products, using hand and power tools, and fastening aircraft and industrial engine components. Applicants need 1–4 years of sheet-metal or shop-assembly experience, the ability to cross-train across sheet-metal assembly areas, blueprint-reading ability, physical ability to lift heavy materials and tools, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
