Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking an optical product engineering support professional to help achieve yield, scrap-cost, debug-accuracy, and lean-project targets in a mass-production optical device environment. The role supports product engineering evaluations, BOM cost and test-time reduction projects, yield improvement, specification-file verification and qualification, OBA and ROHS failure analysis, real-time debugging, scrap monitoring, and continual improvement while maintaining safety, ESD, cleanroom, housekeeping, ISO, and company-rule compliance. Applicants should have an engineering diploma, typically at least five years of optical device testing or repair experience in mass production, electronics and optical-circuit knowledge, circuit-diagram interpretation, test-instrument proficiency, and preferably PCBA troubleshooting experience.
