Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking an engineering technician to support product engineering activities for optical devices in a mass-production environment. The role focuses on yield and scrap-cost improvement, optical module testing and repair, troubleshooting and failure analysis, test-time reduction, BOM cost evaluation, specification verification, debug accuracy, and continual improvement while maintaining safety, ESD, cleanroom, housekeeping, ISO, and company-rule compliance. Applicants should have a diploma in electrical, electronics, optoelectronics, or telecommunications engineering, at least five years of relevant optical device testing or repair experience, electronics and circuit-analysis knowledge, and familiarity with optical test instruments and PCBA troubleshooting.
