Description
The Web Migration Specialist supports Georgia Tech's Office of Information Technology Web Modernization initiative by migrating websites from the legacy Plesk hosting platform to Sites@GT. The role works with web customers, OIT Web Hosting, and CampusPress to assess readiness, prioritize migrations, plan and execute transitions, coordinate troubleshooting, and document processes. It requires 3–5 years of experience, WordPress migration expertise, SEO and accessibility knowledge, DNS and domain configuration, customer communication, and prioritization skills; Git familiarity is preferred. The position is hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia, with local candidates required to work in the office two to three days per week.
