Description
Greene King is hiring a Technical Accountant to act as a Finance Centre of Excellence subject matter expert for VAT, Fixed Assets, IFRS16, Treasury, and other specialist accounting areas. The role leads technical accounting guidance, supports statutory reporting, audits, compliance, complex transactions, balance-sheet integrity, accounting-standard changes, finance transformation, and system implementations, while improving controls, reporting quality, and technical capability across finance teams. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, significant VAT experience, IFRS16 knowledge, advanced Excel and ERP skills, experience across multiple legal entities, and large-company experience; ACA qualification is preferred and ACCA is considered.
