Description
RUM Group Inc. is hiring a Technical Accounting Manager to serve as the company's technical accounting lead. The role owns complex accounting conclusions, financial reporting judgments, SOX controls, US GAAP and SEC reporting guidance, technical disclosures, and coordination with external auditors. The manager will provide authoritative guidance to finance and cross-functional stakeholders, document accounting positions and internal controls, and help scale the technical accounting infrastructure. The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, an active CPA designation or equivalent, and at least five years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 or comparable public accounting experience. Compensation is CAD 130,000–150,000 base plus benefits and equity.
