Description

Provide technical advisory services to coordinate installation and commissioning activities for assigned projects, including commissioning AC and DC drive systems and control software, tuning closed-loop regulators, troubleshooting complex control systems, designing/configuring/testing hardware and software, reporting commissioning status, leading client witness acceptance testing, recommending improvements, training client personnel, and supporting special projects.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering with control automation coursework, mechatronics, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent education/work experience
Required Previous Experiences: Co-op, internship, or other work experience
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree (MSEE or MSME) with control automation coursework
Research project or thesis in electrical power systems, control system theory, software engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or AC/DC motor drives
Research assistant, intern, or co-op experience in the listed technical areas
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% with limited notice
Strong problem-solving, leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
