Description
This role serves as a technical bridge between sales, customers, and engineering teams for complex mechatronic robotic systems. It provides pre- and post-sales technical support, develops and integrates embedded firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in C/C++ across bare-metal and RTOS environments, creates low-level hardware drivers and communication interfaces, troubleshoots system-level issues with laboratory and JTAG tools, and defines system requirements with hardware and mechanical engineers. The position also evaluates concepts using physics and empirical modeling, supports thermal and motion-control systems, maintains technical documentation, and represents the company in customer and partner discussions. A bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, or control engineering and at least five years of relevant application-support and firmware-development experience are required; travel is expected.
