Description
The Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut is hiring a full-time Technical Assistant for shift work at its Greifswald site on the Isle of Riems. The role operates, monitors, maintains, and repairs technical plant and equipment in laboratory and animal-housing areas; controls safety-relevant operational parameters through building-management and process-control systems; and ensures reliable supply of technical systems relevant to biosafety. Applicants need relevant vocational training in electrical, electronics, mechanical, or comparable technical fields, German language proficiency at C1 level, and a security clearance. The position is limited to 24 months, pays according to the public-service collective bargaining agreement, and includes shift-work and overtime allowances.
