Description
The DKFZ is seeking a Technical Assistant (m/f/d) in translational cancer research for the DKTK partner site in Freiburg, starting in November 2026. The role supports the FREEZE-O Biobank by collecting and processing biopsies and resection specimens, establishing and maintaining human tumor organoid cultures, performing histological and molecular analyses, testing organoid responses to substances, and coordinating laboratory equipment maintenance. The position requires relevant laboratory training, practical experience in cell culture and molecular biology, strong German and English skills, and is initially limited to two years.
