Description
The Automotive Component Test Engineer conducts comprehensive testing and failure analysis of automotive components, executes test procedures, analyzes results, troubleshoots issues, and recommends corrective actions. The role manages testing requirements across the product development lifecycle and requires familiarity with automotive standards such as USCAR, GMW, IEC, and VW, electrical tests including IR, derating, temperature raise, dielectric strength, and current cycling, and hands-on experience with environmental chambers, UTM, and pressure-vacuum testing.
