WEX is seeking a mid-level technical certification and testing professional to manage 90- to 180-day certification lifecycles for merchant and point-of-sale vendor portfolios. The role configures payment test environments, creates and troubleshoots test scripts, validates transaction data with intermediate to advanced SQL, supports secure network connectivity, applies payment interface specifications such as ISO 8583, resolves production authorization and POS issues, and coordinates merchants and internal teams through launch and post-launch stabilization. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of relevant experience, technical QA and payment-processing knowledge, strong stakeholder communication, and successful completion of a background investigation; WEX also highlights AI-assisted diagnostics, automation, and data visualization as preferred capabilities.
