Description

E Source is hiring a Technical Consultant to support advanced metering infrastructure and utility technology implementations for electric, gas, and water clients. The role combines system and integration testing, requirements traceability, defect management, data-flow validation, AMI and installation-data quality reviews, and coaching of client teams on data-management and exception-handling processes. Candidates need at least five years of experience in utility technology implementations, testing, data management, or quality assurance, along with relevant utility-system and testing experience. The position is remote when not traveling to client sites, with travel up to 50% depending on project needs, and offers a budgeted salary of $85,000-$105,000 USD plus an annual bonus.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
Required Previous Experiences: Five or more years supporting utility technology implementations, system testing, data management, quality assurance, or a closely related technical function
Experience with AMI, MDMS, CIS, GIS, work management, customer platforms, or other utility systems
Experience developing or executing system, integration, user acceptance, business process, field acceptance, regression, or performance testing
Experience working with requirements, test cases, acceptance criteria, requirements traceability matrices, defect logs, and test results
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SQL or similar data-query tools
Direct AMI implementation experience
Working knowledge of utility meter, endpoint, installation, billing, or operational data
