Description
The Underwriting Support Specialist assists leadership in developing, implementing, and monitoring commercial lines underwriting best practices; supports staff training and skill development; identifies performance gaps; provides underwriting expertise; and establishes internal quality-control and review processes. The role also serves as a business lead or resource on corporate projects representing the rating function. A bachelor’s degree or four to six years of related experience and training is required, while AINS and AU designations are preferred. The position requires legal work authorization in the United States and does not offer visa sponsorship.
