Description
The Technical Design Engineer / Technical Draughtsman will convert customer fiber-optic sensing projects into detailed, manufacturable engineering packages. The role produces 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, junction-box layouts, fibre routing, splice plans, BOMs, supplier documentation, and inspection requirements, while supporting procurement, production, suppliers, and quality. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or design field and 7–12 years of experience, with strong mechanical design, CAD, manufacturing, and technical-documentation skills; underwater, subsea, marine, or fibre-optic experience is preferred. A Certificate of No Objection and security screening are mandatory.
