AECOM is hiring a Technical Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams and oversee the full lifecycle of complex hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centre projects in Europe. The role is client-facing and hands-on, based in Milan with occasional travel across UK and European offices, and requires a master's degree in engineering and at least seven years of data centre design or project management experience. Responsibilities include coordinating architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, fire protection, ICT, and BMS/EPMS teams; managing design outputs, risks, permitting, commercial governance, and client presentations; and supporting project managers and directors.
