Description
The Technical Designer supports the US Wholesale Product Development team, primarily for Walmart, by owning fit, construction, quality, and compliance from concept through production. The role leads fit sessions, approves samples and technical documentation, guides pattern and grading corrections, supports vendor communication, and collaborates with Design, Production, Merchandising, Sourcing, and QA teams to meet deadlines, cost targets, and Walmart standards. The position requires 7–10+ years of apparel technical design experience, strong mass-retail and Walmart experience, and proficiency with PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and technical documentation.
