DEFCON AI is hiring a Technical Director, AI Decision Systems to lead a cross-functional team delivering a zero-to-one AI-enabled decision-support capability for the federal government. The role owns technical strategy, architecture, execution, delivery, risk resolution, and the integration of software, data, AI, infrastructure, security, and quality workstreams, while building and mentoring a technical organization. It is remote-first with up to 25% travel, requires U.S. citizenship and an In Scope US Secret clearance, and offers a salary range of $220,000-$260,000 plus bonus, equity, health insurance, PTO, and parental leave.
