AECOM is hiring a Technical Director – Geotechnical for its Water group in Montreal. The role leads complex dam and hydroelectric power plant geotechnical assignments from feasibility through implementation, including investigations, analyses, designs, reports, drawings, specifications, quality control, project execution, team coordination, and technical supervision. The position also contributes to geotechnical practice development, business development, proposals, and technical innovation. It requires a civil engineering degree with geotechnical specialization, membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, at least eight years of relevant experience, French proficiency, and Office suite proficiency; a master’s degree, hydroelectricity experience, GeoStudio proficiency, bilingualism, and a driver’s license are preferred. The role offers hybrid work options and does not provide Canadian work-permit sponsorship.
