AECOM is hiring a Technical Director-level Design Manager for a complex, safety-critical defence infrastructure project in Adelaide. The role leads integrated design teams across Australia and the UK, provides technical leadership on process engineering systems and radiological waste management, guides multidisciplinary design integration, supports the Design Lead, mentors engineers, and represents the project in senior technical, client, and safety forums. The position requires a degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, more than 25 years of experience in defence, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries, relevant professional membership, and suitable AUKUS defence clearance. Relocation support is available, and flexible full-time, part-time, job-sharing, and hybrid work arrangements are offered.
