WSP is hiring a UK and Ireland Mine Waste Team Leader to lead technical delivery, project direction, business development, and client liaison for mine waste and tailings projects. The role covers design, inspection, stability and seepage analysis, closure design, waste rock and water impoundment facilities, and supervision of junior and intermediate staff, with travel to the United Kingdom, Ireland, and international project sites. Candidates need substantial mine waste and tailings experience, civil, geotechnical, or engineering geology qualifications with soil mechanics expertise, relevant professional registration, and a record of delivering large multidisciplinary projects.
