Description
The Technical Director – North America will develop and execute ME Elecmetal’s technical strategy for integrated mining process solutions across North America, leading Product Design, New Product Development, Materials Engineering, and Mineral Process Engineering. The role translates customer operational challenges into engineered solutions, coordinates with Global R&D and the Simulation Center of Excellence, directs metallurgical and materials development, establishes engineering standards and budgets, and recruits and mentors technical talent. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required, along with 10+ years of mining, mining equipment, mineral processing, or industrial manufacturing experience; an advanced engineering degree is preferred, and candidates without a formal engineering degree may be considered with 15+ years of progressive mining operations or mining equipment experience.
