GHD is hiring a Technical Director in Rock Mechanics for its Montreal team to lead rock mechanics professionals and provide technical leadership on underground and open-pit excavation projects. The role covers geomechanical design, rock mass classification, tunnel and cavern design, numerical modeling, exploration planning, client relationships, project management, mentoring, and research. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in geological or civil engineering, at least 10 years of relevant experience, OIQ membership, bilingual French and English communication, and the ability to travel across Quebec, Canada, and internationally.
