Technical Director, Safety Case at Wayve

Wayve is hiring a Technical Director, Safety Case to own the architecture, strategy, and integrity of safety cases for its robotaxi and OEM ADAS products. Reporting into Safety Management & Assurance, the role will define safety claims, argumentation, evidence structures, traceability, and assurance approaches; partner with Product, Systems Engineering, AI/ML, Validation, Vehicle Engineering, Software, Hardware, and Operational Safety; provide independent technical challenge; and coach engineering and product leaders. The role requires deep experience with safety cases for complex safety-critical systems, systems engineering, autonomous driving and AI/ML safety, and relevant standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO/PAS 8800, and ISO 3450x.
