Description

Destinus is hiring a Technical Documentation / S1000D Specialist to develop, maintain, and govern technical documentation for defense and aerospace programs. The role covers S1000D-compliant manuals, maintenance procedures, configuration and change control, technical authoring environments, supplier and customer documentation reviews, audits, and bid support. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 2–4 years of S1000D technical documentation experience, knowledge of configuration management, and experience in highly regulated industries.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Aerospace, Defence, Logistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 2–4 years of experience developing technical documentation using S1000D standards.
Experience working with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals and documentation lifecycle management.
Experience working with technical publications in highly regulated industries.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Common Source Databases and XML-based documentation environments.
Exposure to aerospace, UAV, defence, or military programs.
Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support principles.
Additional European languages.
