The role involves interviewing stakeholders, developing operation and maintenance manuals, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and visual aids; coordinating terminology and revision control; and validating documentation through product reviews, testing, and field activities. Candidates need at least three years of experience producing customer-facing documents in a safety-related field, strong copyediting skills, Microsoft Word or equivalent layout software expertise, and familiarity with mechanical repair processes. The target salary range is $90,000 to $115,000 USD.
