SCHOTTEL GmbH is hiring a Technical Editor (m/w/d) for its Technical Documentation department. The role involves researching user information, planning, creating, and revising operating, transport, and installation instructions in an XML-based editorial system, visualizing user information, commissioning and approving translations, and publishing content across various media. The position requires a mechanical engineering background with relevant operating-instruction experience or a degree in technical editing or technical journalism, along with content-management-system, graphic-program, and MS Office 365 skills. Knowledge of propulsion technology, hydraulics, and control electronics is desirable, and good English is required.
