Description
Sunrun is hiring a Technical Engineering Lead to serve as the technical authority for structural engineering, engineering calculations, product application, and permitting support for SnapNrack. The role owns structural methodologies and documentation, interprets building codes and engineering standards, develops engineering rules for Blueprint and other digital tools, supports complex customer and commercial and industrial applications, partners with product development, and coordinates external engineering consultants and permitting organizations. The position requires experience in the solar or solar racking industry, a BS in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, and at least seven years of structural or solar engineering experience; a professional engineer designation is preferred. The stated starting salary is $121,628.46 to $162,171.28.
