DigitalOcean is hiring a technical engineering manager in Bengaluru, India to lead a mixed-skill engineering team building the control plane and operational tooling for a cloud DBaaS platform. The role focuses on scalable distributed systems, database engine orchestration, telemetry and logging, automation for upgrades and maintenance, and guiding team communication, vision, and culture. Candidates should have a computer science or related degree, 8+ years in software engineering, strong experience with Golang, gRPC, Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines, with preferred experience in Temporal and MongoDB operations.
