Eversource is hiring one regular Substation Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical classroom and on-the-job training for Substation Operations and Field Engineering employees. The role analyzes training needs, instructs and evaluates trainees, maintains training standards and procedures, participates in testing and quality assurance, and provides operational input on new equipment and construction standards. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline or equivalent experience, at least eight years of utility transmission, distribution, substation, field engineering, testing, maintenance, construction, or related operations experience, and must be available for emergency restoration assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. The annual salary range is $133,290.00-$148,100.00, with a potential incentive and no immigration-related sponsorship.
