Eversource is hiring one Substation Training and Field Engineering Specialist to develop and deliver technical classroom and on-the-job training for Substation Operations and Field Engineering employees. The role analyzes training needs, instructs and evaluates trainees, maintains standards and procedures, participates in testing and quality assurance, and provides operational input on new equipment and construction standards. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline or equivalent experience, at least eight years of utility transmission, distribution, substation, field engineering, testing, maintenance, construction, or related operations experience, and must be available for emergency restoration assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. The position offers an annual salary of $133,290 to $148,100 and is eligible for a potential incentive.
