Freeport-McMoRan is hiring a Safety, Compliance, and Operations Training Specialist for its Safford operations in southeastern Arizona. The role develops employee skills in safety, compliance, and operations and maintenance through hands-on and classroom training, assesses on-the-job competency, supports equipment-related learning gaps, collaborates with Operations and Maintenance, and contributes to competency-based training materials and train-the-trainer programs. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED with seven years of relevant training or team-leading experience, or a bachelor’s degree with three years of directly related experience, along with technical competence, computer literacy, communication skills, and English proficiency. The role pays $36.00–$50.00 per hour in base salary and may require non-standard or shift work.
