Simpson Gumpertz & Heger is seeking current students for a 2027 Summer Internship in its Washington D.C. office. The internship provides hands-on experience in construction monitoring, field investigations, condition assessments, structural design and analysis, materials testing, site inspections, research, and preparation of engineering deliverables. Candidates must be currently enrolled or plan to complete a master’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering and demonstrate strong communication skills. Compensation is $29.25–$32.50 per hour for undergraduate students, $33.75–$34.75 per hour for graduate students, and $36.75 per hour for PhD students, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for Technical Interns.
