Offenburg University of Applied Sciences is hiring a full-time Technical Laboratory Manager for its Electrical Drive Technology Laboratory, starting November 1, 2026, for a fixed term of two years with possible permanent continuation. The role manages laboratory equipment and materials, conducts safety inspections, supports laboratory practicals and grading, and serves as the EMI Faculty’s safety officer by developing risk assessments, operating instructions, and accident-prevention measures. Candidates need a university degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field, professional experience in a commercial-technical field, knowledge of electric drives and power electronics, occupational safety experience, and office software proficiency; MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, and LabVIEW knowledge is desirable.
